Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 Kameda pumped, ready to rumbleKyodo News
Koki Kameda has started the mind games ahead of his showdown with Daisuke Naito, saying he is supremely confident of wresting the WBC flyweight belt away from the champion in Saitama later this month. "It has been a long time since I have felt this confident. I can't wait for the fight to begin," Kameda told reporters after practice in Tokyo on Wednesday. "I have got a pretty good idea of how he will box. It will be easier for me if he goes on the offensive. I hope to knock him out," said the former WBA light flyweight champion, who turned 23 on Tuesday. "Losing is not an option and I want to show the difference in class between us." |
