Oita's Morishima out for 2 months

OITA (Kyodo) Oita Trinita striker Yasuhito Morishima will be out of action for two months with a foot injury, the J. League first-division strugglers said Monday.

The 21-year-old Morishima sustained the injury in last Tuesday's 3-0 defeat away to Omiya Ardija and underwent detailed tests two days later that revealed he had suffered a joint fracture in his left foot.

Oita suffered its eighth consecutive league defeat in going down 2-1 at home to Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday. Last year's Nabisco League Cup winners are languishing at the bottom of the table with just four points from 11 games.
