Japan and China will consider allowing flights between Tokyo's Haneda airport and Beijing's Nanyuan airport before the Beijing Olympics next August, transport minister Tetsuzo Fuyushiba said Tuesday. The plan calls for four round-trip flights per day between the two airports initially, Fuyushiba said. "I earnestly hope that the two countries' leaders take up the issue if Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda visits China," he said. Fukuda is expected to visit China later this month or early next year. |
