TSE, Vietnam bourses to collaborate

Kyodo News

Tokyo Stock Exchange Group Inc. and Vietnam's Hochiminh Stock Exchange signed a memorandum of understanding Wednesday to explore collaboration, including listing of the two countries' stocks on each other's bourses and other cross-border securities trades, the TSE said.

The Japanese and Vietnamese markets will also exchange information on trading of investment instruments, including derivatives, and will aim to conduct worker training programs together, the Tokyo bourse said in a press release.

"By continuing to enhance cooperation with Asian exchanges in the future, we will keep striving to improve convenience for market participants," TSE President Atushi Saito said in the release.
