Hyatt Regency Tokyo

From Dec. 1 to 25, the Hyatt Regency Tokyo will offer a Christmas Spa Package featuring champagne treatment at its popular Spa and Wellness Joule on the 27th and 28th floors. At the fitness facility, guests can enjoy swimming, exercise, etc., free, before or after the treatment.

Before receiving a facial, head and foot treatment (60, 20 and 20 minutes each), guests can relax with a champagne thalassa footbath (20 min.).

In addition to the Christmas Spa Package treatments, guests can enjoy the luxury of a 30-minute champagne bath.

From Dec. 1 to 25, the Lounge & Bar Veranda will offer an afternoon tea featuring traditional Christmas desserts from European — stollen from Germany, "buche de Noel (yule log)" from France, "sachertorte," a chocolate-coated chocolate sponge cake from Austria, and ginger cookies from Norway. An original Christmas cocktail using champagne and strawberries will also be available.

An Italian Christmas dinner served at the hotel's Il Teatro restaurant will be traditional, but with original and creative touches. The courses use ravioli pasta, essential for Christmas in Northern Italy, and panettone as the traditional Italian Christmas dessert.

After Dec. 26, Japan begins to get ready for the end of the old year and the beginning of a new one. At the Royal Park Hotel, four restaurants will offer special menus for the yearend, and to make the moment memorable as you welcome in the new year, there will be a countdown party at the Royal Hall.

From Dec. 26 to Dec. 30, French restaurant Palazzo, Teppanyaki Sumida, Japanese cuisine Genjikoh and Chinese cuisine K-ka-en will each offer special course menus to thank customers for their support throughout 2007.

On New Year's Eve, the hotel will be holding a dance party that will remind you of the disco years. So dust off the flares and dig out those platform shoes that you always knew would come back into fashion. An oldies cover band, "Scar Face Project," will be rocking the house with R&B and disco classics, including songs from the Eagles, Deep Purple, and Earth, Wind & Fire, and professional dancers will help to keep the temperature of this disco inferno rising to midnight. Before the party starts, you can enjoy a buffet between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. For those who wish to visit a temple after the party, there will be a bus going to Senso-ji Temple.
