Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) are back in this second spinoff movie from the popular TV series, but here the ex-FBI agents' energy and interests seem to be subdued and the show's trademark paranormal mystique is missing. The duo — Scully now works as a pediatric surgeon and Mulder leads a secluded life — are summoned by the FBI to validate the psychic ability of a pedophile priest (Billy Connolly) whose visions lead them to find several body parts buried in the snow in rural West Virginia.
